Chadwick International School

Chadwick International School

The faculty and teachers at Chadwick International School work with students from pre-kindergarten all the way to the senior year of high school. The grade levels are split between Village School (preK-5), Middle School (6-8), Upper School (9-12). In addition to being accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), Chadwick International is credentialed for the following programs: International Baccalaureate (IB), Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). CIS is also a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme (MYP). Through their curriculum, Chadwick looks to provide their students with a balance of skills in the academic, social, and ethic spheres.

Such a balanced approach to education can be seen in the diverse set of programs available for Chadwick International students. Beyond the three buildings for classroom, academic work, students can visit the aquatic center for swimming practice, attend a performance in the theater or listen to a complex musical solo, and visit the athletic fields and gymnasium to get into a healthy spirit of competition and teamwork. Students can participate in gardening outside or express themselves in their artwork at a Chadwick studio. In the classroom, Chadwick International students are encouraged to raise their hands and ask questions as they develop their critical thinking skills. Inquisitiveness and problem solving are valued prizes that are further developed through discussions and debate.
